Ernie Ball Musicman Axis guitar with the original EBMM case. This is the first Axis we have gotten in and after a couple of minutes I thought this was one of the more comfortable guitars I have played in a long time. The birds eye maple neck with super light finish feels like an older vintage neck with no resistance when moving around. This one was ordered with the the rosewood fret board which is pretty rare since most I have ever seen come with the maple and it has the EVH D-tuna installed as well. The sound over all is way more articulate than what we imagined. Pick ups are for sure very warm with that PAF type of presence you want when playing heavier music but can handle softer stuff without sounding like mush. You can tell right away that it has that Ernie Ball type of treble bite while not being to compressed sounding at all. They load these up to be pretty stunning with the birds eye maple headstock cap, flame top, and the back of the neck as mentioned. Check out the pictures and you will see what I mean.
Condition is very good. Headstock has one tiny ding, frets/board/dots look excellent, front of the body has one pin head sized dings but minimal picking scratches, back of the body has one small ding and not much buckle rash at all, sides have minimal wear, back of the headstock/neck look mint. I would say it's an easy 9 out of 10 over all and electronics work great. Case has two stickers on it and one of the latches doesn't seem to lock in place but I put a little piece of velcro on it so the case works fine as is.
